A certification that benefits everyone.

Global Container Terminals is excited to announce that all four of our terminals have officially completed the Green Marine certification process. The goal of this voluntary program is to go beyond the environmental levels set by government regulations for air, land, and water emissions.

Both Canadian facilities received a 5 out of 5 in the Community Impacts category while our USA terminals scored equally high in the Spill Prevention category. GCT Bayonne received the highest overall score, among the highest awarded to any Green Marine member, due to our innovative expansion project. We are proud to be a member of Green Marine and these scores reflect our ongoing commitment to the environment and community.
